Structural Steel Detailer/draftsman

Hangan Steel is chasing carpenters, draftsmen, and shop detailers to join our office team as a steel draftsman

Position Type: Full Time

Rate: $35 – $40 per hour

Your role will involve

• Meeting builders and doing site measures
• Drawing steel shop drawings
• Liaising with Overseas detailers to get the shop drawings accurate and ready for fabrication
• Communication with builders on expectations and timelines

Skills required

• Understanding of architectural and engineering plans
• Ability to do site measures and setouts
• Drawing and drafting skills
• Good computer skills
• Sketchup skills
• Ability to professionally email and manage an email account
• Great communication skills
